| Workshop Rotation Model | |||||

Second Church of Plymouth utilizes the workshop rotation model of church school for elementary grades 1-6. Unlike traditional church school classes, the classroom space is designed into creative workshops that teach Bible stories. The workshops can include art, drama, audio-visual, computers, games, puppets and music. Workshop leaders stay in the classroom, teaching the same lesson (with age appropriate adjustments) and the children travel from workshop to workshop. The curriculum year is divided into four or five week periods, and a single bible story is taught during each period. The children experience the same story through different media, gaining new insights and experiences to thoroughly grasp the concept and lesson and completing the rotation with a better understanding and long-lasting retention |

| Godly Play Our Godly Play program is for our preschool and Kindergarten students, combining the art of storytelling with active wondering and exploration of the stories of the Bible. | |||||
