Two groups of Second Church youth join together to form these exceptional groups who have blessed us with their performances.

The younger dance group comprised of first through fourth graders are guided and led by some of the youth from the older girls in the liturgical dance team.

Our older youth dancers in grades 5 and up blend choreograph many of their own dances. Many of these girls dance for fun outside of church and bring their talent and creativity to our congregation.

Both dance troupes rehearse under the guidance of youth music director, Marilyn Ozelius, and our youth have developed a dance team whose time and talent has been requested by other community churches.

Our youth choir is for young people in grades 3 and up.

The choir meets for rehearsals after Church School (approx. 10:30 AM)on Sundays from September through June.

In addition to song and dance, many of our congregation's young people play musical instruments. We have featured clarinet ensambles, flutists piano players and others with a gift for music.

All of our youth are invited and encouraged to display their talents through performances during special events such as our Children's Sunday cantata and Christmas Concert as well as at worship services.
